MARCO....POLO....
Each year I like to spend time watching the kids play. There's something about their energy and sense of happiness that I admire. When their biggest worry is who is opening their eyes during Marco Polo.
Kids are not worried about what bills need to be paid or trying to say the right thing so as not to offend anyone or just trying to sound intelligent. That is not to say children do not have stresses. They do! Especially kids nowadays more than ever with the world at their fingertips and constant communication. Children have the ability to let it go and live in the moment and take advantage of what is going to make them happy.
Why do we loose that the older we get? Imagine the world if we all just lived in the moment. If we scheduled time to worry about our concerns and hold onto our happiness.
I am fortunate enough to have the opportunity to do that here at the beach. Just let go and live like a kid! It is my goal beyond this week to find time in each and every day to live, laugh, and love. Just like we do when we are all together at the beach or in the pool playing Marco Polo.
